This session took place just shortly after Dominico's Baptism, in which he wore this stunning white suit!
Funny Story, this session actually turned into 2 when mom messaged me in tears. Dominico wore THE WRONG PANTS!
Buuuut I loved it, mom and dad jumped into the second session for some family shots!
The one with mom and dad snuggling Dominico is my absolute favorite! He had just about enough of smiling
at the crazy lady and was ready for lunch and a nap!

After capturing this families 1st newborn, Noah ( noahs fresh 48 blog ) I was beyond excited to meet the Haynes Baby GIRL!
A perfect fresh 48 session with Miss Elavi, I was honored to photograph her newborn session. Newborn sessions are typically photographed under 2 weeks of age. After a little cold troubles Elavi was 4 weeks old at her newborn session. To say she was perfect is an understatement!
SHE WAS AMAZING!!! And this hair, wait till you see THIS HAIR....

I had the opportunity to photography Big Brother Noah meeting his baby sister for the 1st time. TEAR!
I love seeing new family's excitement! This is such a huge milestone in all those part of the family. I love to include grandparents

I enjoyed creating a personal experience for this new family. First family photos, sweet newborn cuddles, and some of the sweetest shots of a newborn after birth.
Mom and Dad are first time parents, and such naturals already. With delicate touches, sweet kisses, and one amazing bonding experience with their newborn.
I enjoy capturing such amazing moments! After birth it is expected to be tired and overwhelmed, once you are home the experience of birth and the moments after slip your mind easily to easy really. These are moments we try our hardest to hang on to, remembering each detail of our newborn. How small or big they are, the newborn smell ( and yes baby breath it's amazing). I may not be able to help you remember the smells but those are little details you concentrate on remembering the most. I provide you with all the other touches of your session.

I love traveling and when traveling to one of my favorite locations for session's I get that much more excited. The beautiful spot in Lake Whales is one of my dream locations. You'll see why, there is a beautiful tower and the best garden areas.
The Youngest of the two was so interested with the big flowers around the park, I asked her to pick her favorite and give me a big smile! I would say that is definitely a gorgeous one, the flower as well ;)
Not only was this family having their first family session done, but we had a blast photographing a little mini session of their big girl getting ready to start Pre-School. Definitely a big deal for her, she was so excited and couldn't wait to get started!
One of the cutest moments, when I caught dad having a moment with his little lady playing tickle monster! These are the moments we live for. Live Laugh Love I say and this family does it all! <3

This woman with such courage and strength should never had to worry about where to feed their baby. Breast feeding is so natural and what we our intended as mothers to offer our children. Not only was she braving such an amazing thing she was preparing for her husband coming home from the military after being away for a year.
I am so thankful to of met two of the strongest willed people I could ever meet. A woman who believes in herself and her family to do what is right and best for her children and a man who fights for his family and country. I am forever honored to of crossed paths with the both of them.

I had the joy of photography the Scott Family! Amy, Dan, and Elsa where amazing as ever for their session. I met up with them at my favorite spot in Clermont and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. I know this can be hard to believe in Florida, with the constant on/off rain and the extreme humidity, but seriously for one day it was perfect. While the weather was fine, it was the Scott family that made this shoot such a blast. Especially soon to be 2 year old Elsa! She loves to talk, tell you all about her daily activities, and lead the way to some great spots for her portion of the photo session.

OK, back on to this beautiful family. Mom had a vision for her session and it consisted of beautiful water, this spot for her location was the perfect fit. Funny thing; I had planned this whole dream photo session in the water, ideally in my head it was going to be amazing. I get to the park, the ranger comes up and says sorry but the water is closed due to alligator activity. In my head I'm thinking Ok we live in Florida there is alligators in almost every body of water we swim in. For a split moment I was shattered, my session I had all planned out and perfect in my head was quickly going down hill.
To back track just a little I arrived at the park almost half an hour early. As you may or may not know Florida well there is nothing cold or even cool about the outdoors. There was already a line at the park forever long. As the ranger was making his way more and more people where deciding to leave since they couldn't enjoy the water although they did still leave the park open (YAY for me).
I will say, I believe all things happy for a reason. I sit there with this forever long line in front of me that was quickly leaving the park, meant this location we choose for the session was not going to already be packed before we even got started. And so be that is just what happened, we got to enjoy the park with no crowds. All the hot spots that everyone would be crowded was all mine to capture beautiful images of this family.
Although this session felt it was starting on the wrong foot from the horrible news the ranger was giving everyone, it turned out to be the best thing that happened for my session!
I will admit I was a little bummed I didn't get to see the gator.
But you do get to enjoy what I had the pleasure of capturing during this fun adventure at the park.

I found the perfect little field that had the most gorgeous wild flowers growing. Miss Ava is this sweet little girls name had such an amazing time running all over and picking the very best flower's for her daddy. She turned it into a game and we laughed so much. I loved her attention to detail, picking only the best for her daddy was the only way to go. I have captured some of the best memories for these two.
Of course in between picking all those flowers and enjoy daddy's hugs and kisses there was plenty of time for playing and some fun poses for being such a big princess as well.

The whopping cough can be spread to your newborn from children, grandparents, parent's, and your photographer. Whooping cough spreads easily through the air when a person who has whooping cough breathes, coughs, or sneezes. Almost everyone who is not immune to whooping cough will get sick if exposed to it.
Take the time to ask the important questions when deciding who is right to be around your family and capture your newborn session. This is one topic that I take extremely serious, I make sure to stay on top of my Vaccines including the Tdap for tetanus- diphtheria-pertussis shot. As well as several other's such as the flu. It is part of my job as your photographer to make sure you and your family is 100% safe.
So Please add this question to your list of must asked question's for your potential photographer as it should be your most important for your family.

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so magnificent to work with. That's true of my session with the Arnold family, too!
I met up with them in Orlando Florida at one of my favorite locations to photograph and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. Beautiful evening lighting, and although it's technically "Winter" in Florida the day was warm and so comfortable. While the weather was fine, it was the Arnold family that made this shoot such a blast.
This family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly loves spending time together. What made this session such a blast, we added a little Valentine twist to the images. Also, sweet "K" will be 13 in just a matter of days. So we photographed some amazing moments of her enter a stage in life that maybe a little scary for her but also mom and dad.

We’ve all seen those adorable photos of new little babies looking so peaceful and relaxed and not a care in the world. As new parents, we want similar photos of our children to send out to grandparents, make into screen savers, and blast out to our social media pages to show off our amazing baby. But then session day comes around and BAM! – your baby does not want anything to do with it.
You’re thinking, “Why won’t you stop crying? I’ve literally done everything I can think of, but you’re still not happy. Don’t you know I’m paying good money for this session? Sarah’s baby cooperated in her session, why can’t you just go to sleep and let us get some nice photos?!” If this is happening during your session, I want you to stop, breathe and remember one thing: all newborns cry. This is a natural, real emotion that all newborns have for most of their first few months of life. It’s not abnormal. There is nothing wrong with your child for doing it. It is nothing to be ashamed of. They aren’t doing it to embarrass you. And when you stress out about the fact that your baby is crying, that then makes things even worse because he or she knows you’re upset.
Don’t let the crying upset you. Embrace this moment in time. It won’t be long before you forget how her little forehead wrinkled up whenever she screamed, or how his toes would get all stretched out and tense when he was upset. Let us capture these little details. These crying photos can evoke real emotion and demonstrate the love you have for your child as you try to soothe him or her. Your child can look back at these photos once they’re all grown and remember the solace that they found in your arms. These tender moments are just as important, if not more so, than the sleeping, posed photos.
The point of booking a newborn session is to help you preserve the first memories of your child’s life. While posed photos are cute, you’re not going to look back and think, “Remember how cute she was whenever she would lounge around the house in frog-form?” because that didn’t happen. You’ll look back at these photos and remember all the nights you walked your baby around the house or rocked him in a chair and hummed lullabies to try to calm him down. Those times are very stressful, but they also help you form a bond and that’s what makes these photos treasured.
All that being said, if you have your heart set on those peaceful, posed photos, we can always take a break and try again and, if all else fails, reschedule.

The thing I do love is you can throw one in your purse or car to show off your family. The additional's make perfect grandparents gifts. Oh, and did I mention these are also magnets, so go ahead hang some of these bad boys on your fridge and show off that adorable newborn you just had photographed or an amazing baby bump you are rocking for the next couple of months.

It's been a long road for this family, after being put on bed rest and playing by ear for her maternity session! Things are looking up and everyone is perfect, so we got out and enjoyed some warm Florida sun this winter for a beautiful maternity session!
Might I add that baby girls typically take the glow out of a mama, add pounds where you originally did not have other then an amazing growing belly! This lucky mama is glowing everywhere and has one amazing pregnancy figure!

We took the session to the outdoors where my home studio is located on 5 acres and enjoyed some nature shots, he sure does get around. I had fun turning this outdoor part of the session into some awesome candid shots!
Saved the best for last and had an amazing Cake Smash session, he went face first and was not shy when it came to his cake. He loved it and ate every piece. Luckily it was a cupcake size or there would of been a major sugar rush going on!

His mama did so well following my simple tricks that I provide in my welcome guide, this provided mom and dad with so many amazing memories of their baby when baby sleeps better and is more calm for his/her session!
I love when parents bring in items and heirlooms that are important to them, this makes a session creative and unique and very personal for them. In this case mom and dad brought in dads fire man gear. I just so happened to stumble upon a vintage fire truck the day before the session. Talk about fate, this added so much creativity to the shots.

This little peanut is such a beauty and a new addition to this months blog. When this beautiful 10lb baby girl named Anna came into the studio with her mama, I was so excited and ready to take on this session! Yes, the best time to photograph a Newborn session is during the first 5-10 days of life, but this little lady proved that wasn't the case. She was amazing, letting me get all the poses that I pull off with my 10 day old newborns. I even got a "froggy" pose out of this little one!

Quinten is a great baby; if mommy is near by he is calm, a very alert little guy. I think he can't wait to venture this world! Newborns change so rapidly from newborn to one month their is a significant difference. ]]>This young mom is so amazing to this little boy, he can't get enough of his mama. This country duo loved to show their country side with some outdoor photos with their boots and hats on. What a great memory for this mom to share with her little boy when he is older. We enjoyed a fun session on the tracks and by the lake.

This little lady on the way also has two excited big brothers who are awaiting her arrival, they tell me they can't wait to teach her all the fun and exciting things that they know so far. With the help from these two, mom and dad's load won't be so heavy this time around ( not sure about the diaper load though ;) )
With just weeks left to go, I enjoyed photographing a special moment for this family. Capturing how beautiful a body is during pregnancy, and the connection between yourself, spouse, and any children. Something that will be treasured forever and that you can share with your child when they are grown and understand the true importance of that moment when you carried them around for 9 months and captured the beauty of yourself and family at that time!

This couple was amazing to work with, I believe you can truly tell when a couple just mesh well and during this session I could almost see the sparks fly. I didn't know whether to duck for cover or just spend the next hour caught up in their "moment". Did I mention this bride jumped up in a tree limb that was at least 5 foot in the air IN STILETTOS, I am sure her prince was really impressed as was I ;) Not only was this engagement session more then just the two engaging in each other it was full of laughs, good times, and rememberable memories!
